Dungeons & Dragons: Winter 2020 Session Zero
Date: Wednesday, January 08, 2020
The adventure begins here! At this session, Dungeons & Dragons games will be formed for the January-March Campaign Season. Don't miss this session!
FSJPL offers two ways to play: Monthly drop-in and bi-weekly campaign play.
Bi-weekly Campaign: The 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, Jan 8-Mar 11
These are groups of one Dungeon Master and 5-6 players. These groups will play an ongoing story for five session, and may choose as a group to stay together into the next campaig season. These groups will be formed at Session Zero: January 8, 2020. If you cannot make this session, but hope to join a campaign group, please email Morgan in advance.
The number of campaigns that we can offer is limited to how many Dungeon Masters we have, and how many tables we have in the Library. We will do our very best to find groups for everyone, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so. Those with DM experience who would like to be absolutely fantastic, epically-awesome community heroes, please email Morgan!
All officially published races and classes are generally accepted for characters. Your DM will discuss table rules for their game, and will approve all characters. Feel free to bring characters, or character ideas, but be prepared to make adjusments to fit the table and the DM.
Monthly Drop-In: The 2nd Wednesday of the month, Jan 8, Feb 12, Mar 11
January 8 is Session Zero. For drop-in players, this means an introduction to FSJPL's D&D community, including our community gameplay expectations, an introduction to the game for new players, and character creation if needed. There will be no formal game this session, but drop-in players are still encouraged to come out for a short meeting to meet everyone.
On regular drop-in nights, you will join a new group of adventurers for a one-shot adventure. These sessions depend on the availability of a drop-in DM. Please check on the facebook group FSJ Roleplaying Games, or via email to verify the status of the drop-in game.
Drop-in players can bring a Level One 5th Edition character, or one will be provided. If a game is to be played at a higher level, the DM will assist players with adjusting the level.
